i have one query about TDS on payment made to Non-Resident i.e.
Our company(Media Co.) has purchase a right of Telecast of a Brazil I-League football math at our channel only,in this contest we are going to make payment to him.so i want to know "will tds applicable on this payment" " if yes than what is the reason behind it & on what %.

As the Non resident company will provide you the services and you aware that services attract to deduction of TDS. As per your query same will treat as professional services on which TDS rate is @ 10% but you need to read or consult a CA about rate otherwise you have to read DTAA with Brazil and higher rate will applicable on this.
