26 July 2011If a person not having a Service Tax registration No. and he is providing a labour work and his invoice Amount is above 10,000/-so it is applicable for TDS deducting on his invoice?... if yes then How many percentage of TDS calculate on his invoice?...

Threshold limit for Tds to contractor is 30000/- If the total amount of labour work is only 10000/- no need to deduct TDS.
if it is above 30000/- u have to deduct 1% ,if no PAN 20%
