17 January 2011We are planning for improvement in Fixed Assets. However for doing so we also require to pay labour charges at the time of making such improvements. Please note that all such expenses shall be capitalised in books of accounts.
We require learned professionals to let us know whether the same shall be liable for tds?

If they comes in professional category than Yes you have to deduct tds u/s194J @ 10 %
