whether tds is required to be made when interest is paid to pat sanstha/finance company

In case of interest paid to Co-operative credit societies by its borrowers or by other society/bank on deposits, the only possible exception to the general applicability of TDS on interest is provided in Section 194A(3)(iii)(a) to the effect that, TDS provisions u/s 194A(1) are not applicable to interest paid/credited
