11 June 2013individual had taken a loan from nbfc and paid installments with interest during fy 2012-13 but not deducted tax at source from interest. now in june 2013 he has deducted tax for whole fy and paid the same to govt. can he claim deduction in fy 2012-13 for the interest paid to nbfc

you have explained you have not deducted the TDS on the amount of interest paid to nbfc . But in the month of june 2013 you have deducted the whole tds and deposited to govt. in such case you only can claim the interest if you have revised the TDS return of 4 quarter of financisl year 2012-13 and if you have not revised the return then you have to claim it in the financial year 2013-2014
