our State government office purchased a stationery from jail department(State government office).
The jail dept. raised bill bifurcating CGST & IGST.
In this case can we deduct TDS on GST,If rate contract was made more than 2.5 lac?

TDS shall not be deducted on the GST component. TDS shall be deducted on the bill excluding GST @ 2%.

No TDS will deducted as its exempted supply ( State govt to state govt)
