Is TDS has to be deducted for a service provided even if you pay the consideration in kind?
Or we have to deduct TDS only when we are paying in money?

I mean to ask if someone provided professional services to us, we have to deduct TDS while making the payment. Do we need to deduct TDS even if we pay him in kind?

U/S 194j, if service amount exceeds 30000/- then u shall be deduct tds @ 10%
