should I deduct TDs on foreign payment even if they have charged me 6% service tax
for eg: taxable amount $4500
service tax @ 6%
total amount payable=$4770
should I liable to deduct TDs and if yes so on which amount I should deduct TDs ???

Hi, There is no separate circular or communication from IT Dept exempting foreign taxes from the purview of TDS. In this case TDS has to be deducted on the whole amount..
you have to deduct tax on $4770
