I want to know about the TDS on equipment rent. We have taken a nursing home on rental. Rental agreement made on wife name and equipment agreement made on husband name. Is both payments attract TDS or only rent will attract TDS.

payment of rent for equipment also needs to be deducted TDS at the rete of 10%, provided the annual payment or credit is more than Rs. 120000...
And TDS on rent for nursing home as usual needs to be deducted at 15% or 20%, depending upon the recepient... and the ceiling of Rs. 120000 also applies...
