should we deduct tds on travelling exp. paid for directors & consultants travelling? if yes under which section.

Hi Dipak, No TDS has to be deducted on any payment made on Directors travelling expences but it attract the FBT. FBT tax has to be paid by the company

no tds

NO need to deduct TDS on ravel bills. whether it ifor director or for consultant.

No TDS is attractable. U/S 194C TDS is payable if Payment is made to a resident Contractor and with Directors company have no such type of contract,But if directors have their personal Travelling agencies and contract is made with them on regular basisTDS has to be deduct because both will be treated as separate entity.
