Tds on consultancy income from outside india

Hi,

cnsultancy Income which was received in the previous year ( outside India and the same has been added to the total income of the assessee ) .

But the TDS on the same has been deducted by the Country after the due date of filing returns. 

How can we get back the credit? Is revised return the only way out ?
