TDS on consultancy charges

Hello everyone.

My company has appointed a person as a consultant for whom the company is paying 22000/- as a fee everymonth. Is the company has to deduct TDS out of that or not?

Yes... TDS will be deductible on the Consulting Fee...

are Prof fees and tech fee paid or only consultancy fee is paid

Any of the above TDS applicable and it's to be deductible. Rate will be differred...

ok fine I will agree with this point. and one more doubt is some trainees are working as consultants where they are getting 6500 as charges so p.a 78000 will be the total as per the deduction 30000 is the ceiling limit what about in this case?
