15 January 2012A stock broker pays some charges to the Exchanges which are calculated as a percentage of the turnover done by the broker on that exchange. It is charged from the members because the exchange allows the broker to trade on their exchange.
Will such payment be liable to TDS?
If yes under which sec?

As per my view, this should be cover in 194H as broker pays certain commission to carry on activities.
