U/S 192, when an employee retires during a FY whether TDS has to be deducted on the basis of six months?

Yes If Gross Total Income Exceeds slab rate.

So if he works for 11 mths also TDS has to be deducted on 6 mths basis?
Sir,If you can plz explain the logic behind it.

My Friend refer section 192 TDS On salary will be deductible on monthly basis.
