ya u can use tally ERP 9 for tds requirements..
first of all u have to pass jounal entry and booked expenditure Eg. rent on building Dr. and ABC Cr
while creating the ledger of party (deductee) Is TDS applicable - fill 'Yes' and fill the PAN no the party otherwise it will deduct TDS by 20% rate.
secondly pass payment entry :
ABC Dr.
To TDS on Rent ( this amount will come automatically)
To Bank
For Reports: Go to Display - Statutory Reports - TDS Reports - Computation OR Return and can get 26Q , 27Q , 27EQ

in which head tds a/c will open....is it in current liabilities?
then how we show it ...can i have some example with amount..?
