is there any provision under tds that we can deposit tax on next day if due date falls under sunday or other gazetted holidays.
for eg due date for depositing tds for december is 7th jan 11. and if 7th is on sunday, can tds be deposited on monday without interest???
YES You can deposit on next working day without any penalty or interest.

Not specific section but its common rule.
Act may not accept assumptions like common rule. It accepts only facts & actuals. Better you plan to remit/pay/submit any Tax related amounts/returns before the due date.
