DEAR SIR, 

FOR ONLINE CORRECTION OF TDS DEMAND,

1. WE WILL PAY CHALLAN OF TDS DEMAND ( MINOR HEAD - 400)

2. THAN WE WILL TAG THAT CHALLAN

3. THAN WE WILL DO ONLINE CORRECTION.

IS THIS THE CORRECT PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT AND CORRECTION OF TDS DEMAND BY DEPARTMENT ??

1. @ KOMAL - THAT BY TAGGING OF CHALLAN 2. CORRECTION OF QUARTERLY STATEMENT WILL AUTOMATICALLY DONE BY TRACES.??

Tagging the challan is required only in case of Short Payment or Incorrect challan details furnished in original statement filed, Otherwise adding the challan is sufficient.
