06 July 2012I received an email for TDS Default Generated where I am asked to deposit interest on defaults.
Now, as I have deposited the interest under "Type of payment: 400 (Raised by the Income Tax Department)"
Do I need to revise TDS return in this regard as the interest deposited will be shown as "Matching Pending" under "Quarterly Status of TDS return at NSDL website?

All the TDS Payments made by the Assessee needs to be reported in TDS Return as they will be cross checked by the IT Dept with respect to challan details.
