tax deducted us 194LA by govt.; capital gain tax needs to be pay by deductee or it is exempt ??

Not dependent on tds dedcution.......

But over Nature of aquisition (under which act)...

nature of aquision means compulsory or voluntary ?

compulsory acquisition u/s 194LA if the compensation amount exceeds ₹2,50,000 then it attracts 10% TDS

sir .. many years before his family house n all aquired by govt . for the purpose of construction of new dam in that area. now govt gave jobs to few affected people & those who dint get job for them govt paid money by deducting tds @ 10% us 194LA .. how to account this compensation in tax computation ??? plzz reply
