20 October 2008we have placed order for supply of certain eqipment to on supplier also we agreed to pay the transportion charges to him in lumsum, the supplier given us ths bill for supply also he made a bebit note for the transporation charges in this situation:
we have to dedut the TDS on the transportation charges or not

yes you have deduct tds on bill which he is raising on you

WE HAVE RECD FORM NO 15G/15H FROM THE PARTIES, BUT WE HAVE NOT SUBMITTED THE SAME IN THE INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT ON DUE DATE I.E. 07.04.09. WHETHER THE INTEREST ON WHICH TAX NOT DEDUCTED BY US IS TREATED AS OUR INCOME? OR WE CAN FILE THE FORM 15G / 15H NOW ? EVEN AFTER THE DUE DATE ? PLEASE ADVISE US WITH CASE LAW OR SECTIONS.

Dear Vijay Bhaskar Reddy Sir,
Suppose supplier has deducted TDS while paying the freight to Transporter, then whether TDS u/s 194C will attracted on reimbursement of such freight to supplier ? Also please quote Circulars or Case Laws if any.
