can we deduct TDS yearly once or it is compulsory to file quarterly

it is the responsibility of the deductor to deduct tds on before making the payment in respect to certain transactions & deposit the same in to the government within 7th of the next month.& the deductor is also liable to furnish the return in resect to the transaction on which tds has been deducted & deposited quarterly basis.
So if you have Deducted Tds in each quarter then you have to furnish the return quarterly Basis.

I am deducting Tds at only march end and filling it
