TDS deducted but not deposited by the client

Dear Sir,

WE are a construction company.

Some of our clients have deducted TDS but not deposited.  IT Deptt.has sent a notice u/s-143(1) for the AY-2017.18.  

Client refused to deposit TDS, what should we do??? Please advise
