A partnershilp LLP firm have TAN No. But it did not deduct any TDS of a HUF of Rs. 45000.00 u/s 194A. Is it compulsory for the firm to deduct TDS or what rules? Let me know.

My question is a firm gave interest of Rs. 45000.00 in a year to a HUF but did not deduct TDS, So it is compulsory for the Firm to deduct TDS or what provision or any penalty or what?
