Tds credit on cancelled contract

Hi friends ,

We have received an advance for a contract after deduction of TDS,but later the contract is being cancelled ,we paid back the total amount including TDS.

Now can we claim that TDS, as it reflected in TDS certificate and 26 AS even though that contract is cancelled......
