15 December 2011Will we get credit for TDS paid on intimation issued u/s 200A of income tax act????
we received a notice u/s 200A for short deduction on salaries.My question is whether the amount specified in the notice ie intimation u/s 200a is penalty ????? or will the employee avail the credit of tds paid on intimation u/s 200a

YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT ALL CHALLAN UNDER 24Q with details of TDS return & also rectifictaion letter that you deduct the tds proper
if you any short deduction then pay tax & revise return
employeee get the benefit only after revise the return after company revise the retrun
