can we prepare correction statement on the basis of regular fvu file instead of getting consolidated tds file after 10.06.2011
somebody told me that if the correction is prepared by using regular fvu it will be rejected

Yes U have to prepare the correction statement only after dowloading the Consolidated statement from your account in NSDL website. Correction FVU created from ur file will be rejected . the main reason is that now NSDL is allowing corrections to be done only if the original returns are accepted provisionally. Consolidated statements can be generated only if last return filed is accepted at NSDL.

DEAR SIR
I am asking about the original fvu accepted by tin can be used for correction return. My questing is whether it is necessary to get the consolidated file for correction return eventhough we have original fvu file (accepted by tin) . please calrify
