18 December 2013There was some commission income received by the assessee. However, the income was not accounted during the AY 2012-13 and it was accounted for in the subsequent year. So the TDS on the income was also accounted for in the subsequent year. The statutory auditor has raised question about the matter. Can we justify the claiming of TDS in subsequent year please?

My concern in this regard is whether statutory auditor can object claiming of TDS in the subsequent year in the income tax return?
