can i used tds challan paid u/s 194c ,available balance used for section 192b , beacause i used challan thise way for 24Q then challan not varified so pls help

If a challan has any unconsumed balance, then it can be utilised against TDS liability under any other section apart from the section, on which challans is made.

Further, that challans can be used against TDS liability of plus or minus a year, for which the challans paid.

for ex: if u have paid 20k u/s 194c for FY 2012-13 on 13th may 2016, then that challans can be utilised for years 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14 against TDS u/s 194
