Unutilised Balance in the tds challan can be used in the upcoming months and make short payment to the extent of excess payment in the upcoming months .

But question arises , whether tds payment can be done before deduct?

U can adjust in next month or quarter, as the case may be

Check once from tds utility whether date of tds payment can be prior to tds deduction.

For Tds demands it can be used but through regular statement of Tds , the tds utility may not accept

Either You can use such challan in next quarter TDS return or you can claim refund for that challan.

If you consider the tds in next quarter then date payment is prior to the date of deduction . RPU may through error

Date of tds payment can't be prior to deduction..It is a special case and adjustment can only be done through traces for tds demand and it can't be used in regular tds statement
