Tds certificate

Form 16A has a column to give TDS return filing details by the deductor. Is the cerificate valid if the deductor fails to provide the details of the same in the Form 16A issued ?

I received a Form 16A which does not have return filing details. Also I do not see any details of TDS in Form 26AS on the income tax efiling site, although details of advance tax deposited by me are there online.  Do I need to register seperately to be able to see the details online ?

What should I do ? Kindly advice

You should contact the deductor on this matter. The TDS certificate issued must have the the receipt no. of the TDS return filed. In some cases, it is compulsory for the deductor to issue TDS certificate generated from tin-nsdl website.

No separate regn. for each kind of deduction.

Form 26AS is for all kinds of transactions (like bank statement)
