IT has been deducted by my employer based on provisional declaration from May 17 to Feb 18. I submitted a final declaration in March 18 with revised data with proofs of my claims.. It seems that my employer has not taken cognizance of the revised declaration resulting that excess tax was deducted in Mar 18.
Please advise me how to report this to IT authorities to get refund of excess TDS.
First ask your employer to consider the additional investment claim for computation of income...
Then file the return after the TDS gets reflected Form 26AS and based on Form 16 issued by your employer, to claim the refund.
