24 July 2017Hello . My dad aged 77 years is planning to sell his house. He is selling it for the governance value of 65lakhs. The buyer would deduct 1% TDS and give a certificate for the same.
My dad has no source of income as of now . Can he claim the 1% TDS back

Yes, but after deduction of capital gains tax liability over sell of the house......
