I have asked one query about service tax. If sub contractor can charge Service tax on installation of Solar power system?
and Do we deduct the TDS on the services provided? if yes, then the percentage ?
Please guide me at the earliest. I need the answer as soon as possible.

1) unless there is any specific order is procured by the service receipent, service tax is applicable
2) TDS is to be deducted on the basis of PAN Card status u/s 194C

Thank you very much!
So, We have raised the PO to contractor for installation at our customer site. and we will need to deduct 2 % TDS on his total amount (exceeding 75k).
Please correct me if i have mistaken.
