I HAVE DEDUCTED TDS FROM VARIOUS PAYMENTS OF RS. 19000 FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2009-2010 (i.e. ASSESSMENT YEAR 2010-2011). BUT I FAILED TO DEPOSIT THE SAME TO THE GOVERNMENT TILL 7 JUNE 2010. PLEASE PROVIDE ME WITH THE SOLUTION SO THAT THE EXPENSES SHOULD NOT BE DISALLOWED AND BY WHEN IT SHOULD BE PAID? Can I pay it by 15th JUNE 2010 SO THAT IT CANNOT BE DISALLOWED? Its not 31st may for payment?

Please mention the date of TDS booking entry. Are these deductions on provisional basis???

Due date for disallowance u/s 40(a)(ia)
For the AY 2010-11, TDS deducted for the month of March 2010 shall be remitted to the Government before due date u/s 139(1). TDS deducted during any of the months other than last month, same shall be remitted before the end of Previous year.
For AY 2011-12, TDS deducted in previous year must have been remitted to Central Goverment before due date u/s 139(1)
