12 November 2009We deposited the cheque in the Bank on 7th regarding TDS payment but Bank did not gave any acknowledgement at that time. They gave the challan after couple of days & the date mentioned in the challan is 10th.
Whether it will attract Interest for delayed payment ?

Yes Interest has to pay.........
Challan date before o on 7th of succedding month.................

Please check the challan acknowledgment date. There must be (twodate) mentioned in ack ie deposited date and clearance date.
