TDS Query: • Is there any solution for waiver of 234E of Income Tax. • Interest on late deposit of TDS- if TDS is credited on 31st March 2014 and deposited on 1st May 2014-what is delayed period- 2 Months or 3 Months? • If the demand in TDS notices are of Rs. 10, 20 ,30 i.e. Below Rs.100/=. Whether we should deposit or not. • where demand of late deposit interest in TDS notices are deposited , in that cases whether correction returns are required to be filed or demand will be squared up in default manner.
1. Request to waive send to Commissioner of TDS, They may accept.
2. Delayed period is 3months.
3. Don't know, i think we have to.
4. we have to file correction return.

1. 234e is a mandatory section and waiver not possible..... 2. delayed period is 3 months 3. you should pay such amt otherwise demand u/s 221 will be raised for non payment of demand 4. you need to file correction statement after you have paid late payment interest.
