Would like to know if TDS has to be deducted on bill received from a Air Travel agent. He has charged Base Fare+Airline Taxes+Service Tax in the bill. and on which amount one should deduct TDS?

T.D.S is to be deducted on full amount which is inclusive of all taxes

Suppose i am company the agent(individual) is charging basic air ticket 100 plus tax 150 so the total is rs 250. And charges me service tax at 0.6% of basic.....now u say on which amount one should consider for tds purpose.?

New Provision clearly states that TDS to be made exclusive of tax amount ,if the Service tax is separetely shown in the bill (Circular 1/2014 dated 13.1.2014)
