i had paid tds but i forgotten under which sec so i want to know how can i check under which head i had deposited so what will be the procedure??

Hi Achyut!
If you have deposited TDS then knowing under which section should not be a problem. If you have paid the Challan amount manually by Cash or Cheque, then check the challan counterfoil. Section Code will be clearly mentioned in it. If you have deposited it by Internet banking, the check the computer printout of the bank Receipt.
If you dont have both, then there is an another method. Go to Google & type. " OLTAS TAN based view", enter the TAN & period. It will show the Details of all challans during that period. Section Code, Major Head etc will be mentioned in it.
