26 September 2011We have Paid to Mr. X rent2,64,000 Per Year(22000*12Month) and also paid Cleaning Charges2000 Per year (500*4Qtr.)
So Yearly paid to Mr. X2,66,000.00(264000+2000)
Please Note that we have always deducted TDS against Rent Bill u/s. 194I , Now Question is Can We deducted TDS for Cleaning Charge also.

TDS u/s 194I thresold limit is Rs. 180,000/- (you have rightly deducted TDS)
TDS u/s 194C thresold limit is Rs. 75,000/- (no need to deduct TDS on cleaning charges)

YES YOU HAVE TO DEDUCT TDS FOR CLEARING CHARGES ALSO UNDER SEC 194 C
