What is the rule for deduction of TDS on professionals. If there are 2 payments in the whole year of rs. 19000/- each, shoild TDS be deducted??? or no???

Reddy i hope TDs to be deducted as TDS on Contracts as they or not fall under the sec.194J

Hi Friend,
TDS Is liable to deduct on the above payment because it exeeded the maximum limit of Rs. 20,000/-PA. hence the TDS will be deductible on whole amount paid till.

We have to see whether there is any contract then this matter will be under section 194C
