if a wife want to gift rs 500000 to husband whether gift deed is to be drafted on stamp or plain white paper. The case is of Madhya Pradesh what amount of stamp duty is payable on it.can anyone suggest me regarding this??

It will be better to execute it on stamp paper for evidence puprose. But beware of clubbing provisions in the hands of wife.
Value of Gift Less than Rs.5,00,000 then Stamp paper of Rs. 100
Value of Gift more than Rs.5,00,000 then Stamp paper of Rs.500
