Tax treatment under buy one get one free under exciseble unit
Sir,my client is exciseble unit in which they want to start scheme under which they give some free pcs along with original order.now I want to suggestion that whether free pcs along with duty paid pcs covered under Excise duty/other taxes or not.(i.e buy one get one extra free )please advise.

Yes. As far as I know Excise duty is applicable and should be paid for free also. same is applicable for sample sales
