Why creation of HUF is not popular and practised as one of the proper Tax planning tool / avenue,

Sir,
HUF is indeed an effective tax planning tool. Though because of lack of knowledge regarding it and reluctance to create a joint property which could become a subject matter of family feuds and litigation, it is not that popular.
