Can any one give insight on Tax on income of Hindu priests [poojari, panditji, bhatji] and also which return is to be filed. Please specify sections or case laws if available

Yes if it is religious trust the income is exempt only if registration is obtained under 12AA as charitable purpose

But I feel, it should come under vocation and hence charged to tax under PGBP
