I am an MCOM graduate and I wish to start a tax consultancy(Both income tax and gst filing).
1.Do I need to pass any exams?
2.I am planning to prepare and maintain accounts of firms( for the purpose of income tax filing) and then audit it with chartered accountant.Is it possible to do so?
3.Please help me with necessory suggestions and advices

Apply online on GSTN portal for GST practitioner post . For Income Tax visit your nearest jurisdiction office .

Yes , It is mandatory , you apply online for GST practitioner on GSTN portal , visit website www.gst.gov.in .
