Hi Rohan,
For taxes, I don't think you should take any chance. Just go for a new book. There are hundreds of small changes which are likely to get missed in case of supplements.
I mean, if you have the updated book, you can study it all at once instead of referring multiple sources. It makes you feel better and comfortable as you don't have to go to many places.
So get a new one, stay relaxed and study hard. All the best!
