Dear All,

I have a doubt regarding the extension of due date for Tax Audit Report to 30.11.2014. Can you please let me know whether it is the due date for payment of tax also or we should pay only by 30.09.2014?? Kindly reply at the earliest.

The date extended only for Tax audit report the due date for filing of income tax return is 30-09-2014

THe date for the Income Tax is Same as per my info. as no clarifications for extention for date of income tax

Thanks Naveesh and Suksham! Can u pl let me know as to what is the due date for companies other than the Tax audit cases?? I mean whose turnover is less than Rs. 1 crore.

Yes, the due date to file the ITR Upload is to be clarified yet. Because, the Audit Report Filing Date should be mentioned in the ITR.

So, Assessees can have the time to upload the audit report upto Nov, 30,2014 (asseessee has the option to file Audit Report on any day upto Nov,30,2014) then how can the assessee mention the audit report date before two months (i.e., Sept,30) in ITR.

This is the TECHNICAL PROBLEM.

Thanks for your reply Maruthi and Shailendra. As per the ITR-6 Schema issued by CBDT, the column containing the Date of issue of Audit Report Field is NOT a mandatory one. Kindly check that for your further reference. Hence it is clarified that the Tax maybe filed by 30.09.2014 and the Tax Audit Report shall be filed before 30.11.2014.
