Yes, the date should be extended. The reasons are many, some of them are as follows:
a) The GST returns date extended on the last moment. So, the majority of time was already invested in the filing of GST returns.
b) The Tax audit utility was updated in the last 5 days, so the tax audits already prepared but not filed have to be prepared again in the new utility.
c) The website of Income Tax Department has started performing low, it is hanging now and then. So the whole process has to be repeated for 5-6 times to upload one TAR.
d) Last but not the least: There was no reason to extend the ROC date, as all the AGMs of the companies have already been done. Now only uploading was pending. So, if that can be extended on any grounds so the tax audit date should also be extended
We request our Hon'ble FM, if Government expects us to be their effective partner in nation building so our problems should also be addressed so that we all could partcipate whole-heartedly and happily in our Nation Building.

Definitely sir. There is no doubt. But I think they will say that GST returns filing dates were changed. All our auditors are totally, engaged for 24 hours. Govt should take steps.
