It should be increased because all return of GST and Trans 1 forwarded in October'17 and its very typical to complete the all task till 31st October.

Yes it has to be extended for various reasons:
Time wasted for learning GST ,
implementation of GST,
Discussions on GST,
compliance of GST,
Praparations for training and conducting conferences
Chages brought in updating income tax data banks, pan linking with adhar and other compliances .
ICDS implemenation and discussions
failure of information system and time wasted for uploading GST forms due to lack of conectivity,
Income tax site slow connectivity and site failures and time wasted there on.
Labour turnover in business places due to hactic work schedule in accounts dapartment. Experienced staff has left the organisations.
Problem with small enterprises, where all works are to be handled by proprietor/ partner. Workload there of during this year.;
These problems are in general for all through out India.

Yes, The Tax Audit Date should be extended, if the Income Tax Department, expects a Quality Job from Professionals.
This Month had too many Festive Holidays. and we professionals were stuck with GST, ROC and TDS Work. Morever, the Staff are on Leave because of CA Exams in November 2017.
