First of all, the questions are theory based where rate does not require. If at all the practical problem comes, tThe rate of service tax will be given in the question itself. If it is not given you can assume 10.3% with a note of assumption

i think 12%, as only the ammendment before 6 month is to be applicable for the exams and as far as the ST rate is concerned it has changed from 24th feb.

apply the rate of service tax @ 10.3% with a note below that the service tax rate has been assumed to 10.3%
